It&#8217;s easy to see your Update History in Settings &#8212; what was installed. For example, Cumulative Updates, Security Updates for Adobe Flash Player, Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool installs.<\/p>\n<p>But how can you tell if somehow you missed some? Or, perhaps you&#8217;re interested in when major Updates were released and what issues were addressed? Well, you can view Microsoft&#8217;s &#8220;<a title=\"Windows just keeps getting better and better.\" href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/12387\/windows-10-update-history\" target=\"_blank\">Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 update history<\/a>&#8221; page. Note the different version numbers.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re still using <strong>Windows 7<\/strong>, there&#8217;s a page for that: &#8220;<a title=\"Learn all about the security and non-security updates that are published for Windows 7 SP1. These updates address issues and improve the overall reliability of the operating system.\" href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/22801\/windows-7-and-windows-server-2008-r2-update-history\" target=\"_blank\">Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 update history<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For Windows 7, my experience has been that the Windows Update process can be inconsistent, and the reliability vary from PC to PC.
